When/where is the wedding?
The wedding will take place at the Inn at Manchester on July 18, 2026 at 5:00pm.
What is the vibe?
The vibe is upscale summer in Vermont. Think cocktail dresses, gowns, suits, and your best shades. There will be an abundance of both yummy drinks and gorgeous local flowers. Ceremony and cocktails are outside, dinner and dancing will be in the barn.
What about kids?
Please, no children. Save the dates and invitations reflect the adults from your family who are invited. Mimi and Matt want to have a grown up good time!
But how do I get there?
You could do what the Connelly women did for over 15 years and pile a bunch of people in a few minivans and caravan up 95. The drive is approx. 7 hours from DC, 5 hours from Philly, and 4 hours from Brooklyn.
Or, you could fly into Albany (1 hour drive to the Inn). You will want to rent a car, there is a lot to do around Manchester in the summer!
There are various configurations of planes and trains you can take if driving doesn't work for you. However, we realize that not everyone will be able to make the journey and we truly understand. If you need help coordinating, please reach out to Mimi!
When should I book flights and/or hotels?
ASAP
Summertime in Vermont is popular, and there are other weddings using the hotels listed on our site. PLEASE make a plan now and book hotels and airbnbs by April!
Can I stay somewhere other than the hotels you lsited?
Absolutely! There are some great rental houses in the area that would be so fun for a family or a group. If you want help looking, reach out to Mimi. She will probably reach out to her Aunt Melissa.
When in doubt, book early. We want everyone to have a nice place to stay.
Are there other events besides the wedding ceremony?
Sure are!
On Friday, the Lombardis will host welcome drinks and bites at the Crooked Ram. If you are in town Friday evening, please come by to visit with the bride and groom!
On Sunday, trek about a mile up the hill to Mimi's Aunt and Uncle's house for a boozy garden brunch.
Want to make a longer vacation out of the trip? Sounds good to us! We can hike and swim and relax with whoever is still in town!
